We, Ito Kowakien, rarely in Ito City, have “drinkable hot spring water”. You can put the water in a bottle from “Insen Dokoro” and use it as a toner.

The lobby features an impressive solid wood plank table, an exceptionally large piece of African zelkova tree measuring 1.8 x 6.5m, which is rare for its size in Japan. It’s an open and pleasant space with seasonal flowers where you can have a little rest upon your arrival.
Soft and Gentle Texture Hot Spring
Ito hot spring has a long history. Its slight alkaline simple hot spring water is very mild and has a good reputation for its skin smoothing effects. This is why Ito Onsen is called “skin conditioning hot spring”.
In Ito Kowakien, all our hot spring baths are available all night so that you can fully enjoy them anytime you like during the night.
In the open-air Onsen, you can fully relax in the natural air.
For indoor-baths, we have a “warm bath” and a “very hot bath” where you can take alternately one after another to enjoy them to your heart’s content.
Additionally, we have relaxation room in the after-bath area where chiropractic treatments and body-cares are
