In the large bathroom, the alternate bathing of “very hot bath” and “warm bath” is a must-try recommendation.

We have a large bathroom and an open-air bath for each gender, which switch at 2:00 a.m. so that you can enjoy the different baths on your check-in day and the following morning.
In both bathrooms, we have a “very hot bath” and “warm bath” that you can choose one you feel comfortable with or you can try the alternate bathing to improve your metabolism. Children usually don’t like very hot water for bathing, but in Ito Kowakien, we have a “warm bath” where all the children can enjoy with their parent without any worry.

【Very hot bath】
The setting temperature of this bath is 42℃, which is known as a temperature with an effect to give you “energy” by stimulating your sympathetic nerve and giving tension and stimulation to your body.

【Warm bath】
The setting temperature of this bath is from 39 to 40℃, which can give you a “relaxation” effect by stimulating your parasympathetic nerve system to calm your mind down.
For your information, in Ito Kowakien, we drain the water from the bathtubs and pour the new hot spring water every day, which allows you to enjoy very fresh “direct supply hot spring” every day.
